Annual Salary: $52,217.89 + Full State Employee Benefits
Applicants who possess a Master's Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%.
On-call positions will receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities.
Travel is EXTENSIVE. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree plus one year of experience in professional social work in child welfare programs.
- OR a Bachelor's Degree plus two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist
- OR Three years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
Job Responsibilities
- Serves within a specialized Permanency Planning Roving Unit located in Region 3,
The Regional Assigner will be responsible for:
• Maintaining the CPS assignment log.
• Reading, reviewing, and assigning incoming referrals.
• Making notifications to law enforcement when appropriate.
• Taking joint response calls from local law enforcement officers.
• Assigning permanency planning cases to the region.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for outside communication on CPS investigations with other counties and regions.
• Other regional duties as assigned by leadershipThis position requires:
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with internal and external partners.
