Annual Salary: $77,405.10 + Full State Employee Benefits

Travel is EXTENSIVE. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor's degree in social work, a behavioral science, counseling or business or public administration and seven years of professional experience in social work or social services administration plus four additional years of experience in a supervisory, managerial or administrative capacity;
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education plus three additional years of experience in a supervisory, managerial or administrative capacity.

Note: No substitution will be allowed for the required supervisory, managerial or administrative experience.

Job Responsibilities

Oversees the day-to-day services and coordination of Foster Care and Adoptions in Region 2 (Pottawatomie & Lincoln Counties) & Region 3.
Communicates and collaborates with inter-agency partners, contractors, CW staff, the Executive Team and the public.
Public speaking and the provision of training are required, as well as participation in multiple meetings and work groups.
Responsible for recruitment and all personnel movements and actions, including performance reviews, employee discipline, grievance and dispute resolutions, and payroll and time/leave management.
Assists with creating policy and procedure that is consistent with the goals and direction of Child Welfare and the agency, in alignment with state and federal laws.
