Job Duties
- Performs professional work serving as a liaison between the State APS office and field operations in the delivery of protective services and health-related programs.
- This position provides statewide service and support across all districts, advising personnel, resolving technical issues, and evaluating multi-function human services systems. Responsibilities include managing user permissions, generating dashboards and reports, responding to over 150 monthly IT service requests, coordinating onboarding and system access, and providing technical assistance for mobile devices, Teams, and email systems.
- The position also leads development and maintenance of the APS Field Guide (standard work library), serves as a key liaison with legal and statewide IT entities (DTO and OMES), and supports implementation of grant initiatives.
- The role requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including adapting communication styles to racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse audiences.
- Must interpret and apply policy accurately, and evaluate the broader impacts of decisions with consideration for technical, community, and equity outcomes.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications
- A master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention, and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;

- An equivalent combination and experience, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
*Professional experience in the fields listed must have been the primary job responsibility to be considered qualifying. Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered.
Preference may be given to a candidate familiar with Salesforce, Office 365, a strong desire to assist others with technical issues
