Family Services Specialist I/II

This position is located in Woodward, Oklahoma.

Travel is Occasional - Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.

Annual Salary:

  • Level I  H14A: $35,059.00/Annually + Full State Benefits
  • Level II H14B: $37,687.39/Annually + Full State Benefits

Minimum Qualifications:

Family Services Specialist I

  • Two years of clerical office work in a social work environment.
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting thirty semester hours of college for each year of the required experience.

Family Services Specialist II

  • OR a bachelor’s degree.
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one additional year of experience in professional social work for each year of the bachelor’s degree.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive case management activities while managing a caseload which includes, but is not limited to, assessments for client's service needs and program eligibility.  
  • Staffing with agency partners and community partners, home visits, and providing information, referrals, and coordination for other services.  
  • Interview clients, process applications for various programs, complete required forms, case notes, and narratives within the agency time frame.  
  • Compile data, complete documentation, and enter data electronically to determine eligibility.
  • Participate in individual and staff conferences and committee work as assigned. 
  • Must attend all mandatory trainings associated with the position. 
  • Ability to work on a diverse team and directly with people from diverse backgrounds specifically racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and disabilities.
