H11A AFS Annual Salary $52,642.81 + Full State Employee Benefits

Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.   
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • A master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention, and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;
  • OR an equivalent combination and experience, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.

*Professional experience in the fields listed must have been the primary job responsibility to be considered as qualifying. Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered.


Job Responsibilities:

The Program Field Representative is responsible for reviewing SNAP eligibility casework to ensure compliance with state and federal policy. Working under the supervision of a Program Manager, this position evaluates accuracy, identifies errors or omissions, and provides timely documentation that supports program integrity. The role plays a vital part in shaping training efforts and improving overall service delivery. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts detailed, structured reviews of case reads files to verify eligibility determinations and documentations accuracy. 
  • Applies federal and state guidelines consistently and identifies discrepancies or errors in case processing. 
  • Documents findings clearly and provides written feedback to be used in training or coaching. 
  • Collaborates with the Program Manager to support onboarding upskilling efforts for front-line eligibility workers. 
  • Maintains knowledge of current SNAP policy, updates, and procedural revisions. 
  • Participates in team discussions and contributes insights into common case issues and trends. 
  • Strong understanding of SNAP policy and case documentations requirements. 
  • High attention to detail and ability to review complex records. 
  • Clear written communication skills and basic proficiency in spreadsheets and case management systems. 
Preference Statement
Preference may be given to applicants who have at least one year of experience in SNAP eligibility or related casework.
