This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Annual Salary: $105,000.00 + Full state benefits
Job-related travel is occasional.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree and six years of professional experience in human resources management, or a closely related field including three years in an administrative capacity;or
An equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one additional year of professional or technical public sector human resources management experience for each year of the required education.
Job Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for all OKDHS employees.
- The incumbent will perform expert-level work involving complex payroll reviews and audits of documents, work processes, and submitted payroll documents prior to completing payroll; ensures compliance with federal and state payroll regulations and other applicable OKDHS policies and procedures; reviews and/or maintains policy, procedures and best practices for the activities and services of the Payroll Unit.
- This position is also the garnishment administrator and responsible for issuing payments to creditors and voluntary deduction companies.
- This position will also be responsible for supervising three payroll staff.
