MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree and four (4) years of professional experience in a government or non-profit environment;
or a bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of professional experience in a government or non-profit environment.
Job Responsibilities
Under administrative direction, the Product Owner coordinates tasks and provides professional administrative support to multiple technology-based project teams in their portfolio within Administrative Services.
Identify and define project requirements, scope, objectives, and budget
Create and maintain project documentation, including business requirement documents
Work closely with project team members, managers, and leads to help deliver major agency projects efficiently
Maintain stakeholder relationships
Ensure products support agency strategic goals and budget, encouraging efficient use of resources and accountability over resources
Provide system administration support for business products
Manage necessary product licenses
Own applications for modernization, documentation, and road map
Provide technology service delivery, including applications, data storage, and other business resources
Deliver training content and training plan consultation with organizational change management
Oversee the creation of division training materials for the implemented product
Produce analytics and reporting
Manage and maintain vendor relationships
Identify data integrations
Assess and address risks and issues
Lead cross-agency collaboration and cross-training
Provide cross-project communication/participation
Possess BA soft skills
Utilize market research to gain product awareness to meet customers’ needs
