Annual Salary $61,790.27 + Full State Employee Benefits

Minimum Qualifications

A master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;
OR an equivalent combination and experience, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.

*Professional experience in the fields listed must have been the primary job responsibility to be considered as qualifying. Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered.

Job Duties

Facilitate program operations for conducting Child Abuse and Neglect Information System (CANIS) searches within KIDS, IMS, criminal records, and other online resources for Out of State and tribal CPS Investigations, Adoption Requests, CASA Volunteers, internal hiring, and Civil Guardianship requests.
Advise customers on the laws, regulations, and rules governing the dissemination of information contained in reports sent out by the Oklahoma Child Abuse and Neglect Information System (CANIS).
Coordinate appeal request workflows (intake/eligibility/final determination) for in-home and out-of-home appeals.
Manage incoming calls from the 5050 line phone tree system.

Preference Statement

Preference may be given to applicants who have at least 3 years of Child Welfare experience with at least one year as a supervisor.
