Child Welfare Specialist IV H23D
Annual Salary: $52,217.89 + Full State Employee Benefits
Travel is EXTENSIVE. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree plus one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist;
- OR a Bachelors Degree plus two years experience as a Child Welfare Specialist;
- OR Three years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead Worker and mentor to unit of lower-level Child Welfare Specialists in Post Adoptions. May also serve as back-up supervisor.
- Carries an assigned caseload, providing resources to assure the needs of the adoptive parents and children are being met as outlined in policy and procedures and their adoption subsidy agreement and to assist in avoiding any possible disruptions.
- Completes annual reviews and Difficulty of Care and Age Increases, as warranted.
- Serve as Finance Liaison for their unit for cases with payment issues.
