Annual Salary - $47,301.03 + Full State Employee Benefits

Travel is EXTENSIVE. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree in a human services field* and three years of professional experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in social work, case management, special education, psychology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, program coordination, nursing or a closely related field;
  • OR a bachelor’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, case management, special education, psychology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, program coordination, nursing or a closely related field and one year experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities; or possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing to practice professional nursing and three years of professional nursing experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. 

*For purposes of the Case Manager job family “a bachelor’s degree in a human services field includes any degree from an accredited college or university except for a degree in a physical, natural or biological science or mathematics

Job Responsibilities

  • Position will be dispatched to assist on special assignments that may include case audits, record audits, research and responding to complex, high profile cases, and other assignments as determined necessary by the Field Manager.
  • Position will assist with mentoring newly hired Case Managers in units that have 3 or more new case managers or as determined by the Field Manager, ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and agency policies.
  • Provides casework services that are critical to serve and assist individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in units as needed when facing a staffing shortage.
  • Participates in staff conferences, meetings, and trainings.
