Programs Field Representative
H11A Annual Salary $52,642.81 + Full State Employee Benefits
Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications
- A master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention, and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;
- OR an equivalent combination and experience, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
*Professional experience in the fields listed must have been the primary job responsibility to be considered as qualifying. Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
- This position will be in the SNAP program group and will focus on Payment Accuracy & Error Trends and Training. This position is responsible for analyzing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payment accuracy, identifying error trends, supporting initiatives that improve benefit accuracy statewide, and developing training materials. This role works closely with field staff, policy experts, and the Quality Control (QC) unit to provide technical assistance, training, and data-driven insights that reduce payment errors while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Job duties will include: error analysis and trend identification, technical assistance and policy guidance, training and staff development, and collaboration and corrective action support. Candidates must have strong presentation skills, ability to analyze data and provide feedback, and ability to interpret complex federal and state policies.
