Job-related travel is Occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.

Annual Salary $52,642.81 + Full State Employee Benefits
Preferred Minimum Qualifications
- A master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;
- OR an equivalent combination and experience, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
*Professional experience in the fields listed must have been the primary job responsibility to be considered as qualifying. Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered.
Job Duties
- Quality Assurance PFR is responsible for evaluating the accuracy and integrity of SNAP casework by conducting detailed case reviews and preparing clear, unbiased feedback. The position develops and maintains tools, resources, and reports to support program evaluation and management needs, including training materials, county rebuttal responses, and compliance summaries for state and federal requirements.
- Ensure cases are audited using established guidelines, applying state and federal policy to identify and categorize errors with precision and consistency. Work includes preparing written analyses, participating in peer reviews, and contributing to internal quality control efforts. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective written communication, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues when needed.
- In addition, the QA PFR stays current on SNAP policy, FNS requirements, and emerging error trends by actively engaging in training, reviewing program materials, and contributing expertise in team discussions. The position plays a key role in promoting compliance, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring accurate, consistent program delivery across the state.
