Annual salary: $43,069.95 + Full state benefits
Job-related travel is Occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license.
This position is full-time in an office setting.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree and one (1) year of professional or technical administrative* experience in business or public administration;
OR
an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one (1) year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
NOTE: Technical administrative experience would include highly complex clerical work gained under the direct supervision of a professional supervisor or manager.
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will provide direct supervision to staff within the Centralized Mail Unit of the Adult and Family Services division.Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise and train a team of clerical staff, ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.
- Apply sound supervisory principles and practices in day-to-day operations.
- Manage daily workload and demands while effectively planning and directing the work of other professional staff.
- Initiate correspondence in alignment with agency and program procedures and policies.
- Develop, organize, and maintain confidential and/or complex records and filing systems.
- Attend all required trainings, meetings, and conferences as directed by leadership.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
- Make professional outbound phone calls as needed to support unit operations.
