This position is located in Vinita, Tahlequah and Muskogee, Oklahoma.

H11A CCS $53,989.49 + Full State Employee Benefits
Travel is extensive. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.
Days worked will be Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Hours worked may include extended hours and/or weekends.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications
- A master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;
- OR an equivalent combination and experience, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
*Professional experience in the fields listed must have been the primary job responsibility to be considered as qualifying. Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered.
Job Duties
- Coach, support, and encourage Early Childhood Professionals to implement quality teaching practices using the Practiced Based Coaching model in the following counties- Craig, Ottawa, Mayes, Delaware, Cherokee, Adair, Muskogee, Sequoyah, Haskell, McIntosh, Hughes.
- Assess Child Care facilities to ensure compliance with the Quality Rating and Improvement System.
- Partner, guide and be a resource to support programs in quality improvement.
- Assist Early Childhood Professionals to implement developmentally appropriate environments, routines, and interactions that contribute to positive outcomes for children and families.
- Provide professional development training opportunities to childcare professionals and other stakeholders around quality practices.
- Collaborate with other agencies and partners to assist in enhancing the quality of care in the coaching region.
- Attend all training, workshops, and regularly scheduled meetings with coaching team and community partners as required.
*Preference may be given to applicants who are bilingual, have experience in Child Care Services and/or classroom/coaching/training experience.
