Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree and four years of professional experience.
OR a Bachelor’s degree and five years of professional experience.
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional level experience for each year of the required education.

Job Duties

This position will provide oversight and management of the Child Care Subsidy program including policy development, staff training, quality control, provider contracts, federal compliance/reporting.
Provide direct supervision and guidance to subsidy staff. Analyze and coordinate actions against contracted child care providers. Coordinate activities with the federal partners, other OKDHS divisions, and other agencies. Respond to inquiries from the legislature, media, providers, and public. Represents the agency in the community including public speaking or participation on committees, task forces or advisory boards and responds to stake holders, community partners and the public.

Preference may be given to candidates who is bilingual.
Other: 5 years of experience in Child Care Licensing and/or Child Care Subsidy with 3 in management.
