Material Management Specialist I/II/III
Annual Salary:
- Level I F20A - $35,000.00 + Full State Employee Benefits
- Level II F20B - $37,625.00 + Full State Employee Benefits
- Level III F20C - $41,387.50 + Full State Employee Benefits
Travel is OCCASIONAL - Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.
Days worked will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 PM.
General Function
Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities involving the management, from acquisition to disposal, of all supplies and equipment used to support an institution or agency. These responsibilities include procurement, receipt, storage, control, issuance, inventory, and delivery of material.
Minimum Qualifications
Materiel Management Specialist Level I - No education or experience is required.
Materiel Management Specialist Level II - Requirements at this level consist of two years of experience in the receipt, storage, or stock handling work, and issuance of material; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Materiel Management Specialist Level III - Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of three years of experience in receipt, storage, or stock handling work, and issuance of material; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare receiving reports, update tracking databases, stack ands unstack pallets, move boxes to work areas, shelve processed box shipments, search various databases, retrieve and return files, package and ship files, verify box contents file by file to the box index, correct electronic box index, prepare box labels, keep the warehouse clean and orderly, operate the floor sweeper and cleaner, replace worn or missing box labels, move pallets, and conduct an annual box inventory. Locate and retrieve files; input information into the file retrieval tracking log, convert paper files to electronic records by indexing, preparing, scanning, quality controlling, and post-indexing files uploaded to an electronic document management systems, and enter data into or run reports from statistical databases.
